About the Tees Valley Tennis Foundation
The Tees Valley Tennis Foundation supports young tennis and padel players across the Tees Valley and the surrounding area.
Our purpose is to help young people access and progress in the sport by providing financial support where cost may otherwise be a barrier.
What We Do
We provide grants to help cover the key costs associated with playing and progressing in tennis and padel, including:
- Coaching
- Equipment
- Competition entry
- Travel
These costs can quickly add up, and for many families, they can limit a young player’s ability to continue or develop in the sport.
Who We Support
We support young people aged 8–18, including:
- Players already involved in tennis or padel
- Young people looking to take their first steps in the sport
Our focus is on those who show potential or commitment, but who may face financial barriers to progressing further.
How We Work
The Foundation does not deliver coaching or run programmes.
Instead, we provide funding to individuals and work alongside clubs, coaches, and families to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
Funding Availability
We are not currently accepting applications.
We aim to begin offering support from summer 2026, once initial funding has been secured.
