Applications Open for Funded Summer Camp Places at Tennis World
Tees Valley Tennis Foundation has opened applications for its first support opportunity, offering a limited number of funded summer camp day places at Tennis World for young people who may otherwise struggle with the cost of attending.
Through the pilot, TVTF will fund one summer camp day place for up to 25 eligible young people aged 8–16 who are based at a TS postcode address and where cost may otherwise prevent or limit attendance.
Each approved place will include a summer camp day at Tennis World, with tennis, padel and food included.
Applications are open until the end of Sunday 12 July 2026.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are open for young people who:
- are aged 8–16 on the date they attend camp;
- are based at a TS postcode address; and
- face a financial barrier that may prevent or limit them attending the summer camp.
Children do not need to be existing Tennis World members. Applications may be made for young people who already play tennis or padel, play at another venue, or have never played before.
Applications must be submitted by a parent or guardian.
How Support Will Work
TVTF intends to fund one summer camp day place per successful applicant, allowing the available support to reach as many eligible young people as possible.
Places are limited and submitting an application does not guarantee that support will be offered. If eligible demand exceeds the places available, TVTF will assess applications based on the financial barrier described and the likely benefit to the young person.
Eligible applicants who are not initially offered a place may be placed on a reserve list if demand exceeds the number of supported places available.
After applications close, TVTF will review applications and identify proposed supported places. TVTF will then check available dates with Tennis World before confirming successful applications with families.
