Summer Camp Support Applications Have Now Closed
Applications for Tees Valley Tennis Foundation’s first summer camp support pilot have now closed.
The pilot was launched to help young people access a funded tennis and padel activity day at Tennis World & Middlesbrough Padel Club where cost may otherwise have been a barrier.
TVTF is grateful to the families who applied and to everyone who helped share the opportunity locally.
The summer camp support pilot is part of the Foundation’s early work to understand local need and provide practical support for young people who may otherwise find it difficult to access tennis and padel opportunities.
Working With Tennis World
Tennis World & Middlesbrough Padel Club is TVTF’s Community Charity Partner and has worked with the Foundation on this first support opportunity.
The pilot offered a limited number of funded summer camp day places for young people aged 8-16, with tennis, padel and food included on the day.
Children did not need to be Tennis World members or existing tennis or padel players to apply.
Building Future Support
TVTF is a new charity and is building its support carefully.
Future support opportunities will be shared on the Foundation’s Support and Applications page when available.
Donations and local support help TVTF continue developing its work and create more opportunities for young people facing financial barriers to tennis and padel.
