Tennis World to Help Raise Awareness of Tees Valley Tennis Foundation
Tees Valley Tennis Foundation is pleased to confirm that Tennis World will be working with the charity as a Community Charity Partner.
As part of the arrangement, a new TVTF board will be installed at Tennis World, giving local players, families, coaches and visitors a simple way to find out more about the Foundation and its work.
Tennis World & Middlesbrough Padel Club said: "At Tennis World & Middlesbrough Padel Club, we’re incredibly proud to be working alongside Tees Valley Tennis Foundation. Supporting a local charity that is so dedicated to creating opportunities for young people in our community is something we truly value.
"We believe sport has the power to inspire confidence, build skills and bring people together — and initiatives like this can help reduce cost barriers. It’s fantastic to help raise awareness of opportunities for more young people to access tennis and padel, and to play a part in opening up those opportunities for the next generation."
Tees Valley Tennis Foundation is a registered charity supporting young people aged 8–18 across the Tees Valley and surrounding area where cost is a barrier to starting, continuing or progressing in tennis and padel.

The new board will carry a simple message: the Foundation’s name and website address, tvtf.org.uk, giving families and potential supporters a clear route to learn more about the charity’s work.
Phil Lowe, Chair of Trustees at Tees Valley Tennis Foundation, said: "Tennis World is one of the busiest tennis and padel venues in the area, and it has introduced many children and families to the sport over the years. Having a visible presence there gives us a useful way to help more families and potential supporters find out about the Foundation.
"It is important to us that the charity remains area-wide. TVTF exists to support eligible young people across the Tees Valley and surrounding area, and we are keen to work with clubs, coaches, venues and community partners who share that aim."
The Community Charity Partner arrangement is intended to improve awareness of TVTF among people already involved in, or interested in becoming involved in, tennis and padel locally.
The Foundation is also preparing a small summer activity support pilot ahead of the summer holidays, with applications expected to open in the week commencing 8 June 2026. Further details, including eligibility and how to apply, will be published through the Foundation’s new Support and Applications page at tvtf.org.uk/apply/.
