What Happens Next for TVTF?
The launch of the Tees Valley Tennis Foundation marked an important first step, but there is still plenty of work to do behind the scenes as the Foundation begins building towards its long-term goals.
Over the coming months, the Foundation will focus on:
- seeking grant funding and financial support
- building relationships with local clubs, coaches and community organisations
- developing the processes that will support future funding applications
The Foundation is not currently accepting applications for player support while this initial work is ongoing. We look forward to opening applications in the future and helping young players both start and continue playing tennis and padel.
Our aim is to build the Foundation carefully, responsibly and sustainably so that meaningful support can be offered to young players in the months and years ahead.
In the meantime, the Trustees would like to thank everyone who has supported the Foundation since launch, whether through messages of encouragement, sharing the project online or helping raise awareness locally.
